Tiki meets Dia de los muertos

I'm in Oaxaca today with @banhezmezcalartesanal and @cocktailcamera, so I thought I'd share a little Mexican cocktail inspiration. I've seen this one done by so many people that I don't know the original creator. Play with your spirits though to find the right flavor combination for your palette. ¡Salud!

23. Mexican Zombie

Ingredients

1 oz. blanco tequila
1/2 oz. reposado tequila
1/2 oz. mezcal
1/2 oz. falernum
1/2 oz. passion fruit juice
1 oz. grapefruit juice
1/2 oz. lime juice
4 dashes of absinthe

Method

• Add ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until well chilled.

• Strain contents into a glass with crushed ice, a lime wheel, and a cinnamon stick (torched until smoky).
