21. Shadow Woman
Put that bottle of pear brandy to good use and make another pear-fect Autumn cocktail
The beautiful thing about Autumn-themed cocktails is that the ingredients don’t need to be pumpkin-laced sugar bombs or loaded with activated charcoal. Sometimes just the name of the drink is enough to lend itself to your Halloween party menu. Such is the case with the Shadow Woman, but as a bonus, pear, honey, and bourbon also create a naturally sweet heat to warm your innards as the days turn chilly and brief. Shadow Woman
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz bourbon
1/2 oz pear brandy
1 tsp honey
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 orange peel twist
1 lemon peel twist
Method
Stir liquid ingredients in a mixing glass with ice until chilled.
Strain over a BFC into an old fashioned glass.
Garnish with lemon and orange peel twists.
