Why so bitter?

Originally I wanted to call this site Bitter Pigment; I thought it was a clever way to share both my love of bitter beverages and bold colors. But ultimately I realized the “bitter” came from a deeper place, one triggered by the state of the creative market today and my attempts stay afloat in it, which I attempt to explain here.
